Design Your Ticket Layout

Design Your Ticket Layout

Ticket Layout

On the Ticket Layout tab you can design the format of your guest ticket. Customization options include fonts, style/size and an image editor to embed logos or other graphics. Use these tools to update your Ticket Layout with the information that will be the most useful to guests, like parking instructions, safety guidelines, entrance information, etc.

Insert Placeholder

Placeholders (aka Dynamic Fields) allows you to embed ceremony-specific information from your data on a guest ticket. Your Guest Ticket layout will come pre-set with some common ceremony placeholders (highlighted in yellow) recommended by MarchingOrder. Placeholders can be added to any layout by selecting one from the “Insert placeholder” drop down menu.

When ceremonies are copied, placeholders on the ticket layouts will automatically update to reflect the new ceremony's data. This simplifies the process and saves time by eliminating the need for manual editing. Placeholders are a great tool to use when managing multiple active ceremonies at once, and even saves time year over year on editing.

Insert a Line Break

To insert a line break, press the enter key to create a new line, then click the spacebar one time. For large spaces between text to show on your ticket layout, the blank lines can’t be empty.

Preview Ticket Layout

You can view your ticket layout by clicking the Preview button to open a new tab and see how your ticket will look. Always remember to press Save Layout to lock in changes while you work.
