Overview
The Guest Ticketing feature on your MarchingOrder Assistant data collection website enables you to issue guest tickets for your ceremony. You can set capacity limits based on your venue size and specify the maximum number of tickets each graduate can issue to their guests. Reserved tickets can also be allocated for special guests and VIPs.
With Guest Ticketing, graduates can reserve, request additional tickets, and distribute them to family and friends as needed. Tickets are scanned on-site using the MarchingOrder Ticket Scan app on any Android or Apple device.
- From the admin homepage, click Ceremonies and then the Ticketing button under the appropriate ceremony name.
- On the Ticketing Properties tab, you will see the total amount of guest tickets available and the total number of tickets reserved for guests and VIPs.
- The Event Code is used to configure the MarchingOrder Ticket Scan App. This event code is pre-populated and can be customized by the ceremony administrator, if needed.
- Customize the No Tickets Available Message to provide graduates with relevant instructions or direct them to a contact person if all tickets have been claimed
- The Ticketing Selector Label and Label Description sections allow you to modify the text that graduates will see when selecting the number of tickets they wish to claim. These sections can also be edited in the Registration Form menu (Ceremonies > Website > Registration Form).
- If you would like to utilize the Guest Verification feature, you can edit the toggle here to enable it. Once saved, a Guest Verification Settings tab will appear.
- The next option you may find useful is the Ticketing Printing option. If this is enabled, graduates will be able to print their claimed tickets directly from the graduation site. If this is disabled, tickets can only be emailed to their intended recipients. Click Save to confirm any changes.
