Send an Email From the Graduates Module

The MarchingOrder Assistant website provides two methods to email graduates. From the Communications module you can send emails using a template or create your own ad-hoc message. Another option is to email directly from the Graduates module.

Filter and Email Selected Graduates from the Graduates Section

1. From the Dashboard, navigate to the Graduates section, then click Load All Grads. Choose the correct ceremony from the All Ceremonies drop down. From here, select who you would like to send an email to by using the drop-down menu to select the desired graduate population.
2. Click the box under Select All. This will select all the graduates in the population you want to send and an email to.

3. From here you will:
    1. Select Send Email from the Actions dropdown menu. This will automatically take you to the Send Email tab in the Communications module
    2. From the Load Template drop-down menu, click on the template you would like to send. This will automatically populate the Sender Email, Subject, and Message fields.
    3. Click Review Recipient Total. You will see a pop-up window that will confirm the number of emails you are sending along with the option to enter an email to receive a notification when the emails have successfully been sent.

4. To view the status of your email, select the View Sent Emails tab to see a timestamp of your email along with how many graduates have opened and viewed your email, and any that bounced.
5. To view specific emails that have been opened or bounced, select the icon under the Details column.
