Adding Audio to Your MarchingOrder Director Software

When additional graduates need to be added to your software after you have received your final MarchingOrder Director software, you may want to include your own audio files for these late additions so that you reduce or eliminate the need to have any names read by your backup live name reader. 

To ensure compatibility with the MarchingOrder Director software, please adhere to the following audio file settings:

Audio File Settings

  1. Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz
  2. Bit Depth: 16-bit
  3. Channels: Mono
  4. Format: MP3
  5. Bit Rate: 128 kbps

Steps to Add Audio Files

  1. Access the Software Directory:
    1. Navigate to your MarchingOrder Director software folder.
    2. Open the System folder.
    3. Open the Movie folder.
  2. Save Your Audio File: Save your audio file in the Movie folder.
  3. Launch the Software: Open the MarchingOrder Director software.
  4. Add or Modify Student Data:
    1. If you need to create a new slide for your late addition select Add Student to this Ceremony
    2. If you do not need to make a new slide, select Modify Existing Student Data
  5. Add the Audio File to the graduate record:
    1. Click Choose File next to the Audio field.
    2. In the pop-up window, navigate to the Movie folder and select your saved audio file.
    3. Click Open to finalize the selection.
  6. Save the Student Data: Select Modify Student to save the changes.
  7. Test the Audio File: Select Begin Ceremony Display to test the audio file with the newly created or modified slide.
